Traditional Timber Lattice Privacy Screens
Timber lattice is an economical, lightweight and convenient screening material.
Fully or partly enclosing your pergola, verandah or gazebo with timber lattice can really enhance the overall look of your outdoor living spaces. It can be used to define areas, create outdoor rooms and aisle ways while affording privacy and good air circulation. Inset panels of timber lattice on a carport add a wonderful decorative feature. Lattice can also add security and privacy to balconies. Traditional timber lattice is a time-tested trellis for ornamental, fruit or vegetable vines and adds great impact to any garden.
Manufactured from plantation-grown pine, a sustainable product, our timber lattice is treated with CCA (Copper Chromium Arsenic) timber preservative to prolong its life. This adds weather resistance and protection from termites and other borers.Timber lattice can be painted or stained to complement your existing architecture. Left untreated, it will gradually weather to a pleasing silver-grey colour. Made from your choice of 42mm x 12mm or 32mm x 12mm pencil-edged DAR, our timber lattice panels are available in the traditional horizontal/vertical or diagonal axes.
Our trellis is manufactured with stainless steel staples, eliminating the unsightly rust marks that will gradually appear with the use of galvanised nails or staples. A secondary feature of staples is the dual fixing point provides maximum strength, unlike nails that allow the trellis to concertina.
Timber lattice usually requires a frame, and at A&B Lattice World & Patios, we can custom build fully framed lattice panels to your exact requirements.

Manufactured form CCA treated pine or plantation hardwood in standard timber widths (32mm–70mm), the panels can be framed with timber, or powder-coated aluminium for extra stability if being hinged. We also offer hidden framing, a very popular option. Double-dipped galvanised or stainless steel screws are available. Our slatted timber privacy screens are

Aluminium Lattice Privacy Screens

Extruded aluminium slats are MIG welded then powder-coated to provide strength, security and smooth-to-the-touch good looks in a lightweight and extremely durable product. Made from 30mm slats, the lattice isavailable with 30mm x 30mm or 46mm x 46mm clear spacing, as well as custom spacing, offering you a choice of privacy and shade options.
Large panels are possible due to aluminium’s comparatively light weight. Aluminium lattice is also excellent for enclosing patios, carports etc. where privacy and a high level of security is required. Doors, utilising an extrusion to which the lattice is welded, can be set into larger panels. Using standard security door hardware these doors are substantially stronger than a standard aluminium mesh security door.
Aluminium lattice is maintenance-free, available in over stylish 100 colours, and never needs painting.
